Lumbini (Sanskrit for "the lovely") may be a Buddhist journey website placed at the Nepalese city of Kapilavastu, district Rupandehi, close to the Indian border.
Lumbini is one in all four Buddhist journey sites supported major events within the lifetime of Siddhartha. apparently, all of the events occurred underneath trees.
The other 3 sites area unit in India: Bodh Gaya (enlightenment), Sarnath (first discourse), and Kushinagar (death).
